Collections: Nair Xavier Spring / Summer 2018
¡Buenas Dias! Today I would like to show you the collection that I had a pleasure to see during this year's Lisbon fashion week! Nair Xavier is a Lisbon - based menswear designer who creates modern collections with a mixture of classic and casual elements. In her collection for Spring / Summer 2018 I really love the vibrant colours (especially the red and orange sets) and details. The collection has also a really interesting message behind it, as the designer herself puts it:

Nair Xavier to portugalska projektantka tworząca nowoczesne kolekcje dla mężczyzn będące mieszanką elementów klasycznych oraz nieco bardziej casualowych. W kolekcji na sezon wiosna / lato 2018 niesamowicie podobają mi się mocne kolory (zwłaszcza czerwone oraz pomarańczowe sety) oraz dekoracyjne detale. Kolekcja posiada również ciekawą inspirację - kulturalne dziedzictwo emigrantów pochodzących z Afryki.

The lines and cuts of this collection reflect the struggle for equality and legacy of the revolutionary Black Panthers in the 1970´s. In an analysis of adaptation, evolution and globalization, leaves the question, how much os ourselves have we lost from generation to generation?
The Maasai tribe comes as an answer. Africa is the birthplace of the world.
From generation to generation, the Maasai and the fight for equality from the Black Panthers as ancestral heritage fot the Afro-descendent individuals, emerge."
